Michael Senior Portrait Session High Falls State Park

Ah, Senior Portraits. Young men and women about to dip their toes in to the pool of life. A rare last glimpse of youth and innocence before they find out just how much life will chew them up and spit’em,. . . . y’know, nevermind.

Anyways,. . . Michael’s a senior at Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. We had a great 2-hour session at High Falls State Park. This park is a fantastic place to work a photo-session. We got started around 3 o’clock and went to about Golden Hour. The best part was the kid and family all dug deep and we hiked a bit through treacherous terrain to get to an area with its own falls. It’s a small area and not very traveled at all and it made for great photos.

This was also a great test to put my new light to work, my Adorama Xplor600 HHS TTL. MAN what a great a powerful light to help control the scene. That, coupled with my Adorama Flashpoint on-camera radio trigger, It allowed for great flexibility for getting the good shots. Most of the shots are with my Nikon 85mm 1.8 and my Tamron 70-200 2.8.
