David Collins recently had the honor of capturing the wedding of Brent and Heather Catchings. Aside from the pleasure of shooting the wedding, the wedding was held near and on the campus of Auburn University. The ceremony was held at the Founders Methodist Church, and the reception held at the Jules Collins Museum of Art.
It was a fast-paced day with several types of shooting locations; each presenting their own challenges. I utilized my 2 standard cameras. my Nikon d7100 and d7000. My lenses used for the whole day were my Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 and my Tamron 17-50mm. For my closeups, I used my Tokina 100mm Macro F2.8. I relied on a lot of off camera flash units as well. I used 2 Nikon sb700 flash units. I also tested my 2 new Yuong Nuo YN560 flash units. I used my compliment of PocketWizards to let me use the flash units where ever I wanted.
